Discipleship at THRIVE

 

Do you want to get started on your spiritual journey or take your relationship with God to the next level?  Are you interested in getting baptized?  Want to learn more about what Thrive Church is all about?  Interested in joining a small group for the first time?  Then Thrive Discipleship School (TDS) is for you! 

 

At Thrive we believe each one of us was made not simply to believe in Jesus, get baptized or go to church.  Even more, we were made to have a relationship with Jesus and grow into mature Christ followers.

 

The Bible has a word for this.  It’s called discipleship.  That’s why at TDS we teach you what it looks like to follow Christ and give you the tools you need for each step of the journey.  

 

Start with our Level 1 Class.  It’s a simple course where you will learn about what we believe and how to become a member of the Thrive family.  You will also have the opportunity to get baptized during this course and to attend a weekend retreat where you will learn to take your relationship with God to the next level.

 

Level 2 Class is where you can find out what it means to be more like Jesus, learn how to spend time with God through prayer and Bible study, discover the importance of tithing, and understand the value of community.

 

Level 3 Class is where you will learn how God can use your Spiritual gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences to help others.

 

Level 4 Class will help you discover your calling, learn how to share your story with others, write down your personal testimony, and see how to impact the world around you with Christ’s love.

 

Each of the Levels in TDS involves a combination of Biblical teaching, homework, and small group interaction.
